Melly's Birthday

Jacob and Abby blew out Aunt Mel's candles, so we had to light them up again so that she could make a wish.  The kids just get so exicited whenever they see a birthday cake.  It was nice being with all our family on Mel's special day.  I just can't believe that my baby is 31! 

Holy Week 2008

Friday night we went to calling hours for Diana Harris' funeral then to Esber's for dinner.  Saturday night we met Shawn and Becky at the Ponderosa to celebrate Shawn's birthday.  Melanie and I went to church on Palm Sunday.  Monday was Charlie Witmer's calling hours.  On Wednesday, Loretta, Marcia, Kathy, Jeanie, Pam and I went to THE IRIS for dinner.  We then went to PREMO's for dessert.  The rain turned to snow, so Marcia spent the night because the roads were bad.  Jacob and Abby spent Good Friday night at our house.  Melanie and I finally finished the blankets we were crocheting for Jake and Abby.  

Easter was the earliest it will be in my lifetime.  After church, we met Eric, Susie, Dick, Evelyn, Sherri, and Lito at Faircrest Hoover Lodge for the Sunday meal.  It was a peaceful day.
